Things To Do In Niagara This Autumn
Niagara, Ontario, is a beautiful region to visit during any season. There are endless things to do in Niagara Falls and Niagara-on-the-Lake besides see the falls and participate in wine tours. We’ve put together a must-do list of fun things to do in Niagara this fall to keep the family busy no matter how chilly the weather gets.
Cycling down or taking a long drive along the Niagara Parkway is a great way to take in the breathtaking scenic views Ontario has to offer. The views are even more beautiful during this time of year.
Niagara-on-the-Lake offers lush and bountiful produce at local farmer markets. Take this opportunity to pick up some fresh food that’s Niagara-grown and share a delicious home-cooked meal with the family.
On October 23rd, 24th, 30th, & 31st, experience All Hallows Eve with the frightening tales and spirits of Fort Erie. This infamous tour occurs around Halloween every year, so make 2015 the year you take the family to really get spooked.
Join the Niagara Brewing Company in celebrating traditional Oktoberfest on October 16th, 2015 with an evening of brews and Oktoberfest cuisine.
Autumn in Niagara is unlike any other season. The vast trees and shrubbery are a divine show. From September 15th to October 30th, take a walk through Queen Victoria Park, the Oakes Garden Theatre, the Floral Clock, and the Botanical Gardens to view the beautiful fall foliage. Although the title says “Winter Festival”, this popular Niagara Falls attraction begins on November 21, 2015 and runs until January 31, 2016. For a small donation, you can see the Festival that over a million visitors come to visit each year. Try making the Winter Festival of Lights an annual tradition with the family. We suggest going later in the evening so you can see all the lights when they’re at their brightest.
